Read to your kids in Spanish
There is a lot of chatter about inclusive stories for kids. While in school libraries in the US and Canada these books may be few and far between, they are much harder to track down in some other places (and in some other languages).

Married Same-Sex couples counted in 2006 Canadian census
For the first time (thanks to the 2005 equal marriage legislation), married same-sex couples were counted in the Canadian census. Today, the reports on Families and Households, Marital Status and Housing and Shelter costs were released.
Here is a quick rundown:
